Fire control is a major concern in the dry mountainous area of Calimesa. Riverside County Fire Station # 21, with five firefighters help to alleviate some concern.  The City of Calimesa has contracted with Riverside County for fire services since the City incorporated in 1990.  We appreciate the volunteer team for all of their efforts and commend them on their bravery. 

The firefighters stationed in Calimesa have saved the residents in many fire battles over the years. Take a moment to look at the small slide show of Calimesa's fire history.
