Lost Animals

For information about animals that have been recovered by Beaumont Animal Services, please fill out a Lost Animal Information form.

The City of Beaumont makes every effort to return lost pets to their owners.  When this is not possible, animals are taken to the Coachella Valley Animal Campus, operated by Riverside County Animal Services, or the Ramona Humane Society.  You may contact either shelter regarding lost pets by

v Visit the shelter: Ramona - 831 West 7th Street, San Jacinto, CA 92583

v Check online:  Ramona Humane Society.  The Humane Society does not post pictures online of animals at the shelter.

Dog Licensing - Instructions for obtaining dog licenses by mail

All dogs four (4) months of age or older shall be licensed within thirty (30) days. All dog licenses must be renewed thirty (30) days after date of expiration.

1. Enclose correct fee that pertains to your dog(s). Make the check payable to the City of Beaumont. A late fee shall be charged if the thirty (30) day requirements are not met.

2. Enclose a rabies vaccination certificate signed by a licensed veterinarian. State and City laws require that the rabies vaccination be valid for at least as long as the licensing period. No license will be issued or renewed if the certificate is not in order. Please examine it carefully, your dog may have to be revaccinated.

3. If applying for altered dog fee, enclose proof from a licensed veterinarian that the dog has been altered. No reduced fees will be given without proof of altering.
