Calimesa City Clerk
The City Clerk is appointed by the City Manager and attends all Council
Meetings. The City Clerk is the election officer for the City and is charged
with the responsibility of recording the official transactions of the
City Council, maintaining minutes of meetings, ordinances, and resolutions
adopted by the City. The Clerk is also the filing officer with which legal
notices, summons, appeals and other similar documents are filed. The Clerk
is also responsible for the proper storage and retention of official City
documents and coordinates the City's records management program to ensure
that official records are maintained pursuant to state law.
