Biography of the Calimesa City Manager
David Lane was appointed to the position of City Manager in December
2005. Prior to coming to Calimesa, Lane most recently served as the City
Administrator with the City of Clearlake, CA (1999-2005). His local government
career dates back to 1973 and includes having served as the County Administrator
with Centre County, Pennsylvania, County Administrator with Iron County,
Michigan, and various positions with Humboldt and San Diego Counties.
Mr. Lane holds a Master's Degree in Management from the University of
Redlands and a Bachelors Degree from San Diego State University. Lane
and his wife of 32 years, Debby, have five children and two
grandchildren.
