Community Development Director
Gus Romo is an independent city planning consultant working through
Willdan Associates. He began his consulting business (RPG, Inc.) in 2001
after receiving an MBA degree from the University of Redlands. Prior to
becoming a consultant, Mr. Romo worked 10 years as a city planner in the
Cities of San Bernardino, Azusa, and Santa Monica. He has since worked as
a planning manager and/or project planner for more than 17 Southern
California communities. Mr. Romo strongly believes in providing residents
and local business owners with a Community Development Department
dedicated to customer service, organization, communication, and Zoning
Code interpretation/implementation that will arrive at solutions to help
achieve the goals and objectives of a jurisdiction's General Plan.
Gus is married with two daughters.
