Finance Department
The
Finance division is responsible for the preparation, distribution and management
of the City's general fund budget and a variety of special funds. After
a balanced budget is adopted, the Finance Department maintains and monitors
revenue and expenditure reports on a monthly basis. The division also oversees
the accounting and purchasing functions and manages the accounts receivable
and accounts payable operations. The Division prepares the City's payroll
on a flexible software system that is coordinated with the Accounting system.
The Division manages human resources functions and risk management as
well.
