Biography of the Public Works Director
Bob French is a lifelong resident of Calimesa and has been with the City
since it incorporated in 1991. Bob began his City career as a Maintenance
Worker I and, over the years, worked his way up to his current position
of Public Works Director. Prior to working for the City, Bob was a general
contractor in the building industry for 15 years. He has over 30 years
of construction background, he holds an AA Degree in Public Works Inspection
and Procedures, he is currently working on his BS Degree, and intends
to pursue his Master's Degree.
Bob and Cindy have 5 children total, 3 sons and 2 daughters, and 3 grandsons.
In his spare time Bob enjoys playing the drums for his Rock & Roll
Band KINGFISH DADDY.
