Public Works Department

The Calimesa Public Works Department is responsible for a variety of construction, maintenance, and infrastructure projects in the city including street lights, road construction and maintenance, striping, traffic signs and signals, drainage facilities, building maintenance, parks, and fleet management.

Department Hours:

7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday
7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. alternating Fridays

The Public Works Department is closed on weekends, holidays, and alternating Fridays. To ensure public safety, Department personnel work after hours and during emergencies, sometimes in conjunction with the Police and Fire Departments, as required.
