Effective July 1, 2010, the City of Calimesa contracted with the City of Beaumont for Animal Control Services.
The City Clerk is responsible for the preparation of all City Council meeting agenda packets and processing the codifying of City’s Municipal Code.

In the capacity of the Calimesa Police Department, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department provides all municipal police-related services to the City of Calimesa.
The Fire Department works to save lives and protect property through prevention, preparedness, education and response.
The Public Works Department is responsible for maintenance and improvements for the City’s entire infrastructure.
The Norton Younglove Multipurpose Senior Center offers a number of services for all ages.
